What is the 90-day Google Page 1 guarantee (and why most agencies will not offer it)
A 90-day Page 1 of Google guarantee is not a marketing flourish. It is the central commitment KILO writes into every Letter of Agreement. Page 1 of Google for the agreed keyword within 90 days of full payment, or full refund AND you keep every asset built. Here is exactly how it works.
What "Page 1" means in writing
The agreed keyword (defined in the LOA on Day 0, not changeable mid-engagement) must rank in positions 1-10 of organic Google search results for South Africa, on desktop, for at least 7 consecutive days within the 90-day window. The first day all those conditions are met starts the 7-day clock. If the keyword falls back below position 10 before the 7 days are up, the clock restarts.
What triggers the refund
If Day 90 arrives without the 7-day Page-1 condition being met, the refund clause activates. 100% of the R20,000 entry returns to you. Any retainer paid (R3,500/month from Month 2 onward) also returns. The Month 1 retainer is waived in the standard offer, so there is nothing to refund there.
What you keep regardless
The website. The Google Business Profile (you own it on Day 0). The published content. The citations built across SA directories. The reviews collected. Every asset built during the 90 days transfers to you in full, on the refund day if it comes, or before if you ask. No clawback, no contractual reverse-transfer.
Why most SA agencies will not offer this
